Accredited Laboratory for Testing the Quality and Energy Efficiency of Solid State Lighting

As a member of Intertek’s SATELLITE™ Data Acceptance Program our laboratory is in compliance with ISO 17025 quality management system.  Specifically measuring and confirming that commercial lighting products are safe, reliable, eco-friendly and meet all trusted external and internal standards.

ITL has established a documented Quality Management System (QMS) that complies with ISO/IEC 17025 and provides for continuous improvement in order to ensure reliable and accurate test results, in a traceable manner, by utilizing published Standards, proven test methods, industry best practices and on-going quality improvement initiatives.

Our commitment to quality of customer service as well as professional conduct and practices is documented throughout our quality management system (QMS) and are a constant effort and focus.


  1. As a member of Intertek’s SATELLITE™ Data Acceptance Program, itl Illuminations Testing Laboratory operates under the ETL SATELLITE™ Enhanced Level 4 Program as Intertek’s extension-laboratory.  We are specifically measuring and confirming that commercial lighting products are safe, reliable, eco-friendly and meet all trusted external and internal standards. As a Level 4 Program facility our staff is approved to conduct hundreds of tests in our Product Safety Lab.
  2. Under Intertek’s SATELLITE™ Data Acceptance Program, itl has control of our product certification program, enabling speed-to-market with added flexibility of all of our lighting products.

NVLAP Testing Services

Accredited Laboratory for Testing the Quality and Energy Efficiency of Solid State Lighting

As an accredited NVLAP laboratory (NVLAP LAB CODE 600195-0) we are recognized to operate in accordance with the International Standard ISO/IEC 17025 quality management system.  This demonstrates competency for our scope under the US Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP), Energy Efficiency Lighting Products.  Moreover, our state-of-the-art photometrics lab and its relevant quality management system complies with the rigorous standards for accurately measuring commercial lighting products.

In addition to the NVLAP accreditation, itl Illuminations Testing Laboratory is a Design Lights Consortium (DLC) Approved LM-79 Testing Laboratory.  Accordingly, DLC accepts itl’s IES LM-79 reported results.

DLC Qualification Services
ITL provides end-to-end services for lighting manufacturers in order to get products qualified by DesignLights Consortium (DLC). ITL minimizes the number of similar product testing required in order to get an entire product family qualified, perform the full suite of tests in our NVLAP accredited laboratory and manage the entire submission process with DLC.
